FRP chimney is the most ideal anti-corrosion smoke exhaust pipe, because its anti-corrosion is much stronger than brick chimney or metal material.

How to install it after ordering FRP chimney?

1. The installation of FRP chimney requires steel protection frame to fix FRP chimney to prevent the chimney from tilting or collapsing during installation. The steel protection frame is generally 10% higher than FRP chimney;

2. First assemble the protection frame in sequence, and gradually install it to the highest point of design by crane.

3. Install the chimney section by section. Every two sections are combined into a group. First place the first section on the connecting platform, then lift the second section above the first section, then buckle the two chimney sections with the lifting ring, and then transport them under the steel protection frame.

4. Complete the above steps in sequence. After completion, hoist each chimney group separately.

Design and manufacturing instructions for FRP chimneys:

1. High temperature and corrosion resistant layer: In order to achieve the durability of FRP chimneys at 130℃-150℃, DERAKANE470-300 epoxy vinyl resin and non-sealed glass fiber cloth imported from the United States are used as high temperature and corrosion resistant layers. To prevent thermal deformation, this layer needs to be integrally formed with a steel mold. The thermal deformation temperature of the processed FRP is 160℃, and the thickness of the high temperature and corrosion resistant layer is 5MM.

2. Strengthening layer: In order to ensure that the chimney can withstand the resistance of the natural environment and the pressure of the equipment's own weight when it is more than 60 meters, we use X-158# epoxy vinyl resin and non-sealed fiber produced by Shandong Landun Technology Co., Ltd. as the strengthening layer, and complete the production of the chimney with a winding process. The thickness of the strengthening layer is 15MM.

3. The outermost layer needs to be coated with 0.5mm100%X-158#vinyl resin, and contains an anti-ultraviolet agent as a protective layer.

4. Chimney connection: We use the socket connection method to connect each section of the chimney. The second section of the pipe is inserted into the first section of the pipe, and the insertion length is 200MM.

5. Package area: After the previous section is inserted into the next section of the pipe for correction, an outer reinforcement layer (called package area) is made around the socket with X-158# resin and fiberglass cloth. The package area range is 600MM in height and the thickness of the package area is 15-20MM. This work must be completed on the iron frame on site.

6. Bottom fixed connection: The bottom is connected by a flange. The first section of the bottom has a base flange, which is fixed with a chemical anchor bolt. The thickness of the bottom flange is 30MM.
