FRP chimneys are the most ideal anti-corrosion smoke exhaust pipes, because their corrosion resistance is much stronger than brick chimneys or metal materials.
1. The installation of FRP chimneys requires a steel maintenance frame to fix the FRP chimney to prevent the chimney from tilting or collapsing during installation. The steel maintenance frame is generally 10% higher than the FRP chimney;
2. First assemble the maintenance frame in sequence, and gradually install it to the highest point of the design through a crane.
3. Install the chimney section by section. Every two sections are combined into a group. First place the first section on the connecting platform, then lift the second section above the first section, then buckle the two chimney sections through the lifting ring, and then transport them under the steel maintenance frame.
4. Complete the above steps in sequence, and then hoist each group of chimneys separately after completion.
The last layer of resin in the outer surface layer of our FRP chimneys should be air-free. When the FRP chimney is exposed outdoors, ultraviolet absorbers are added to the outer surface layer, and the thickness of the outer surface layer is not less than 0.5mm. We use the same type of resin for the anti-corrosion inner layer and the structural layer. When different types of resins are used, unlike ordinary chimneys, our products will not delaminate between layers, and users can use them with confidence. At the same time, the minimum thickness of the structural layer of the FRP chimney wall is not less than 6mm. The structural layer should be formed by winding glass fiber continuous yarn or glass fiber fabric impregnated with resin, and its resin content is 35±5% (wt). The thickness is determined by edge calculation.
