The role of passivation treatment of stainless steel chimneys:
(1) Improve the thermodynamic stability of stainless steel chimneys in the environmental medium. (4) Eliminate thermal oxides on the surface of stainless steel. In the passivation process, a nitric acid solution containing hydrofluoric acid is used, which has the functions of etching oxides and passivating the surface.
(5) Passivation treatment as a post-treatment requires stainless steel chimneys to be corrosion-resistant, and requires stainless steel to have various pre-treatments.
